Conviently placed for exploring the coast. Lots of simple walking for all the family. Recommend Red Lion in Alnmouth for good food for the family. Village post office-shop really helpful. An enjoyable family week.

Lovely house, great location. Bamburgh Castle-excellent. Holy Island a must & Cragside. Nice meals at Saddle Hotel Alnmouth & Oaks Hotel, Alnwick.
Bacon's & Hopkin's (London, Hertfordshire)
We had a wonderful week in Northumberland. We highly recommend renting bikes from Pedal-Power. A bike ride up to Sugar Sands along the coast was probably our best ride. Other rides were very hilly! Children (and adults) enjoyed the games room and spent much of their free time in there. All in all a very enjoyable holiday - right amount of relaxing and excursions beautiful surroundings and nice people in the local shops.

The house is lovely & impressed us all. We have all spent a wonderful fortnight. Northumberland has exceeded all expectations with its breathtaking scenery& friendly people. We'll be back!

Try the beach at Lowsteads Farm, Longhoughton - it's great & only 50p to park for a day.

Excellent accomodation. Tastefully furnished, well presented and very clean - everything one could wish for. An excellent location in a lovely part of the country, games room ideal and much appreciated by adults and children.
